Arnaud Violland

I started my career as a management and strategy consultant with McKinsey&Co in France and then with Oliver Wyman in the United States after a double MBA / Master of Engineering degree in Chicago. After a first entrepreneurial experience in consulting alongside the 2 co-founders of Cylad Consulting in Toulouse, I moved to Switzerland in 2011 to join the strategy department of Honeywell to lead various projects in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In 2014, I created the advisory firm GlobAer Partners, bringing together up to twenty independent consultants specialized in “Blue Ocean” type of disruptive innovation in the industrial and technological sectors – somewhat of an instrumental laboratory of innovations which led me to create the startup Safetyn in 2016 at the crossroads between aeronautics, deeptech, human factors & decision-making. In the midst of 7 years of development, the Covid pandemic outbroke, particularly affecting the aero sector and our strategic pivot in digitizing the whole experience did not happen to produce sufficient commercial traction to « overshoot », but nevertheless laid the foundations for new activities – Spirit of Safetyn and Expersum. Back in strategy consulting as an independent consultant, I instantly grasped the relevance of the OMS model and the great values driving the OMS Partners – as well as their true entrepreneurial DNA (« combat-proven »), and I enthusiastically joined the adventure in 2023. Engaged into the international deployment, in charge of the creation of the Firm in Switzerland to meet the specific needs of our Swiss clients, structure and implement the best deployment models.

I like to look for solutions to different problems, I enjoy spending time with family and friends and fulfilling my passions – aviation and mountains – in all their forms as well as engaging into subject matters such as education, cognitive & decision-making and geopolitics.
