Sales Director

Working closely with top management, the Sales Director develops, implements and fronts a company’s sales strategy with the goal of bolstering sales and enhancing performance.

Sales strategy : the Sales Director works toward defining a company’s sales strategy by determining target markets in France and abroad, deciding on promotional products and services and setting sales targets.
Sales team manager :they supervise and lead sales teams, establishing individual and collective targets, coordinating training sessions and tracking performance.
Contract negotiations and signing : they can be directly involved in strategic negotiations with key accounts, partners and suppliers as well as signing contracts.
Competitor intelligence : the Sales Director monitors market developments, reviews competitors and pinpoints opportunities and threats in an endeavor to adjust the sales strategy accordingly.
Sales performance tracking : they frequently track sales outcomes while assessing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and introducing corrective actions where necessary, with the aim of maximizing an organization’s commercial performance.
Partnerships : the Sales Director seeks new opportunities to forge strategic partnerships and consolidate a company’s market position.
Budgetary discipline : they are involved in setting the sales budget, keeping commercial expenses under control and leveraging the use of resources.
